Jacie is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner with Pinnacle Integrative Orthopedics and Sports Medicine. Jacie aims to bring a holistic and integrative approach to orthopedic medicine. When patients are in good general health prior to an orthopedic procedure, better outcomes and lower risk of complications can be expected. It is Jacie’s goal to assist her patients in achieving their highest level of overall health. Jacie will be working with patients providing health screenings, nutrition and exercise education, smoking cessation, medical weight loss, and hormone replacement therapy.
Jacie’s philosophy when providing patients with medical care is to always remember that every patient she comes in contact with is someone’s person: someone’s mother, father, brother, sister, son, daughter, etc. She wants to help each patient experience their highest level of health so that they can fully participate in life with the people that love them.
Jacie graduated with her nursing degree in 2015 and spent most of her nursing career in acute post-trauma and post-surgical care. She returned to school and completed her Master’s Degree in Nursing at Midwestern State University and became a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner in 2020. She is currently pursuing further education and certifications in clinical nutrition and bioidentical hormone replacement therapy.
Jacie is a Wichita Falls native and is passionate about bringing a new approach to wellness to the community. Jacie has been married to her husband Brett for 10 years. Together they have two children, Kalynn and Caysen, and two fur babies, Rocky and Ranger. Her kids keep her busy, but in her limited free time you can usually find her reading her Kindle or a research article of some kind. She enjoys functional fitness exercise along with traditional strength training.
