Jamie Smith, MPT, YFS

Jamie Smith, MPT, received her Master of Physical Therapy from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 1994 and has been treating patients in the Northland since 1998. Jamie’s practice has been in the orthopedic outpatient arena where she has treated a wide range of diagnoses. She is also a Level 1 certified member of the IYCA (International Youth Conditioning Association)and sports performance coach. Her passion for youth sports and her background have given her the ability to appreciate the athlete’s desire to excel to the best of their ability all while remaining injury free by focusing on long term athletic development. Through FASST, Jamie is hoping to change the youth training culture to embody these ideas. Her practice scope also includes a specialty in women’s health, with emphasis on low back pain/sciatica with pregnancy, incontinence, and pelvic pain to name a few. Jamie lives outside of Platte City with her husband, Mike and son, Corbin.
